PTA & SAC Meetings  -  Wednesday, November 9th:

Please join us for the PTA meeting on Wednesday, November 9th at 4:30 in our library. (Childcare will be provided.)

Our School Advisory Committee (SAC) meeting will immediately follow the PTA meeting. Please join us for either or both meetings to find out more about these important components in our school community.

School Mascot Adoption Information:

Thank you to so many in our school community

who  took the time to submit a mascot idea to our Building Leadership Team (BLT) for consideration. After looking at a lot of data and having several in-depth conversations as a team, we have put forward a list of ideas that rose to the top of the list for various reasons.

Our BLT was committed to not repeating another mascot within D51 and weighed heavily the idea that our next mascot should represent the

direction and future we wish to see for Thunder Mountain Elementary. With that being said, please provide your feedback using this link on the proposed mascots with your ranking and suggestions for an accompanying behavior/character acronym (like SOAR).  The deadline to submit these ideas is November 11

No School- Friday, November 4th:

As a reminder, there is no school this Friday, November 4th. This is an Elementary Planning Day and a Middle School In-Service Day for teachers only. High schools have school on November 4th.

Thank you, PTA!

We would like to thank our amazing PTA for hosting another great Thunder Mountain Elementary Trunk-n-Treat on Thursday, October 27th for members in our community. It was a very festive night to see families out together. Also, a big shoutout to all the participants who provided a “trunk” for the festivities. We had participation from staff, parents, the Sheriff’s Department, Colorado Highway Patrol, Clifton Fire Department, Girl Scout Troop 16216, Western Slope HOG, Grand Valley Church, May's Concrete, Girardi’s Towing, and others there to hand out treats for our guests.
